Vista, Calif. — Directed Electronics is now shipping the Sirius FMSC1 interface that allows car radios that are not equipped with satellite radio to work with a Sirius tuner.
The Sirius FMSC1, originally planned for shipping in the first quarter, includes a display and controller that sits on the dash. It connects to factory or aftermarket radios through an auxiliary input or the FM antenna interface and then works with the Sirius SCC1 tuner. Suggested retail is $129 or $179 when combined with the tuner.
