New Lexmark MFP Intro’d.

New York – Lexmark has introduced its X9350 multipurpose printer and is the company’s first to incorporate wireless networking as a standard feature.

The X9350 will ship in late December with a $279 suggested retail price and it features built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and gigabit Ethernet networking, said Sonya Waitman, Lexmark’s product manager. The unit has a stronger chassis with a burnished aluminum outer skin and handhold areas so it can be easily moved. Duplex printing is standard.

Print speeds are 32 pages per minute for black, 27ppm for color with copy speeds of 27ppm for black and 26ppm for color. The 48-bit flatbed scanner resolution is 4,800 by 1,200. There is also a 2.4-inch LCD allowing users to eliminate using a PC if they so choose.

Lexmark developed a new ink called EverClear II and paper for use with the X9350, Waitman said.
