San Jose, Calif. — Acer Ameraica today released two new netbooks with a starting price of $298.
The Acer Aspire One AO751h and the AOD250 have 11.6-inch and 10.1-inch displays, respectively. The
AO751h is Acer’s first netbook to feature this screen size, the company said, as well as a full-size keyboard.
The AO751h is powered by an Intel Atom 1.2GHz Z520 processor, a Mobile Intel US15W Express Chipset, 1GB of DDR3 533 MHz SDRAM memory, 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and three USB ports. If the customer chooses the six-cell lithium-ion battery option, the suggested price is $379; the price drops to $349 without the extended life battery.
The AOD250, $298 suggested price, has an Intel N270 Atom processor and a three-cell lithium-ion battery, but otherwise has the same features as the AO751h.
All models are now available.
