. The online store is
operated by Simplexity, which also runs private-label cellphone sites for RadioShack,
Target, Sears, Kmart, Dell and its own retail outlet, Wirefly. Services include
merchandising, procurement, customer service, billing, customer relationship
marketing, order processing and cellphone activations for Verizon Wireless,
AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Like the other outsourced storefronts, NFM’s wireless site features
hundreds of smartphones, Android devices, PDAs, netbooks and wireless
accessories from manufacturers including HTC, LG, BlackBerry, Motorola and
Samsung. Visitors can shop by service provider, manufacturer or rate plan, and
current customers can upgrade their phones with their current carrier, transfer
service to new carriers, and add new lines to an existing account.

“We want Nebraska Furniture Mart to become a key online resource for our
customers’ wireless needs,” said NFM electronics division director Jay Buchanan.
He said the chain chose Simplexity for its “dynamic and comprehensive”
e-commerce platform, which he described as “second to none” in the marketplace.

‘We are excited that NFM selected Simplexity to deliver our full suite of
wireless products and services to its millions of customers who shop online,”
said Grant Yoder, Simplicity’s consumer wireless division senior VP. “NFM
already has an unbridled reputation in retail, specializing in home
merchandise, appliances and electronics. With our cutting-edge technology,
they can now [add] wireless products and services to their repertoire.”
