Chicago — GPS map maker Navteq will hold a special meeting of stockholders on Dec. 12 to consider approval of Nokia’s purchase offer of $8.1 billion announced in October.
The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Central Time. Completion of the purchase is subject to the approval of stockholders. Navteq currently expects to complete the proposed purchase in the first quarter of 2008.
