CEDIA Expo
Winston-Salem,
N.C. – Specialty Electronics Nationwide (SEN), the specialty electronics and
custom installation division of Nationwide Marketing Group, will be running a
free workshop for independent custom installation dealers at CEDIA Expo in
Indianapolis.
The workshop, Buying
Groups – A Better Business Practice, will run on Friday, Sept. 9, from 10:00 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m. Dealers can register through the CEDIA Expo website under Map

“As more big-box
chains begin to offer custom-installation services and higher-end electronics
products to the consumer, dealers are looking for a competitive edge in their
markets,” said Barrie McCorkle, membership director for SEN. “Buying groups
like SEN provide just that to the independent.”
According to
McCorkle, dealers who attend will learn how to not only compete tougher but
make more money through group discounts, benefits and services.
“Dealers are
always amazed at how much we can offer them in terms of buying power,
education, and networking opportunities. And many wish they had learned about
our services sooner,” he added.
