Nationwide Adds POS Software Providers

Winston-Salem, N.C. –
Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) has partnered with ePass Enterprise, Tyler,
STORIS and Reliable Softworks to provide its member dealers with the latest and
most effective point-of-sale (POS) software.

The new POS providers
will ensure that members have access to the latest technologies to help them
effectively manage their businesses, the buying and marketing organization
said.

“Finding a reliable POS
software provider is an essential part of any retail business,” noted NMG COO Les
Kirk. “The need to integrate new technologies like smartphones and tablets with
POS, dealer web initiatives and consumer financing makes it crucial for our
group to partner with the leaders in the POS channel.”

The benefits of a
computerized POS system include accurate accounting, better management of
service and delivery, reduced inventory shrinkage, in-depth reports, faster
checkouts and the ability to easily collect contact information from their
customers, the group said.

According owner Nick
Faiola, his ePASS program can provide dealers with a simple base system to a
fully automated sales and service environment with integrated finance features.
The system was purposely written as a Windows application to give it a “unique
yet user-friendly feel that is compatible with any PC environment,” he said.

Tyler has similarly delivered
state-of-the-art POS inventory control solutions to the specialty dealer channel
for 30 years. The tools help companies make better buying and selling decisions
that can improve their bottom lines, said national accounts manager Rick Albert.

STORIS is a fully
integrated POS and supply chain management solution that connects all aspects
of retail operations in a real time, Windows-based intuitive platform.  According to new business development
director Mark Van Winkle, the system electronically delivers new features
monthly and major revisions annually at no additional charge.

Mike Baron, owner of
Reliable Softworks, is himself an independent dealer and NMG member with over
60 years of retail sales and service experience. In 2006 his team developed and
began using Reliable Softworks in their own stores and in 2008 made it
available to other dealers.

“Many of our clients are
appreciative of how much we understand their business and what they go through
every day,” said Baron. “Our POS system is proven to cut costs, increase cash
flow, and improve management control.”
