Gathersburg, Md. — Dave Glassman, a 13-year veteran of MyerEmco AudioVideo, was named merchandising VP, and J.R. Stocks was named sales VP.
Glassman was formerly merchandising director of the chain, and Stocks was formerly regional sales manager and mobile electronics division manager.
MyerEmco AudioVideo’s president/COO Gary Yacoubian said in a prepared statement, “Dave and J.R. have been key components of MyerEmco’s senior management team for some time. This is a logical development for us as we continue to fine-tune our senior management structure to meet the demands of a successful retailer and custom installation firm in a complex and shifting marketplace.”
MyerEmco AudioVideo is a 10-store specialty audio/video chain and custom installation designer/installer located in the greater Washington, D.C. market. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2005 with the opening of its newest location in Bowie, Md.
