Winston-Salem, N.C. — Premium headphone vendor Munitio has joined the Nationwide Marketing Group as its newest vendor partner.
The addition comes as the $14 billion buying and marketing organization for independent dealers continues to expand its electronics division with a growing audio assortment.
“Munitio is an extremely innovative brand,” observed Tom Hickman, Nationwide’s electronics senior VP. “We are excited to partner with such a dynamic company as we continue to explore new opportunities within the personal audio category.”
“We understand dealers and retailers have unique needs, and will work with Nationwide’s partners to create a compelling retail experience that also motivates sales,” added Munitio national sales director Sara Lane. “Munitio products have their own unique look, sound profile and industrial design elements that appeal to a wide variety of audio consumers. In the ultra-competitive headphone market, Munitio products, and the way they are presented, will definitely help Nationwide dealers stand out.”
Munitio will make its Nationwide debut next month at the group’s PrimeTime! meeting and buy fair, slated for Aug. 11-14 in Dallas. The company said it plans to showcase its Pro40 over-the-ear headphones along with a “tactical listening station” featuring custom tracks recorded specifically for the vendor by some of the music industry’s top producers.
