Libertyville, Ill. – CE retail veteran
Jim Hamilton joined Motorola Mobility as corporate VP of global retail.
He is
in charge of the company’s worldwide retail strategy, sales and relationships.
Hamilton has more than 30 years of
retail experience with retailers such as Circuit City, Computer City,
Montgomery Ward & Co., and RadioShack. He also serves on the board of
industry leaders for the Consumer Electronics Association.
Hamilton’s group focuses pure retailers
such as Best Buy, RadioShack, CostCo, Car Phone Warehouse, Dixons, and the
like, whereas another group is responsible for selling to carriers.
