Las Vegas – Monster
unveiled five mobile accessories under its Monster Mobile brand at the SEMA
Show, being held here this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The products include the
following:
CarTalk Bluetooth car kit ($79.95):
The sun-visor-mounted kit uses Bluetooth 2.1 and features echo
cancellation, noise and wind reduction, a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery,
25 hours of talk time and two months of standby time.
ClarityHD Bluetooth stereo speaker ($119):
Features include a built-in microphone, two
35mm full-range drivers, a lithium-ion battery, a USB power cable and a
carrying case. Playtime is listed at 10 hours at midlevel volume, Monster said.
PowerPlug dual USB car charger ($34.95):
This charger can simultaneously charge two
USB-enabled devices. It comes with a status indicator.
PowerPlug USB car charger ($29.95):
Similar to the dual charger but this one charges just one USB-enabled
device.
Motion Play charging device ($119):
This device is said to use an in-car hand-motion control connection to
operate an iPod, iPhone or iPad, including play/pause and track skip, while
charging the device at the same time. Requests for more information about the
technology were not available press time.
All products are
scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2011.
