Long Beach, Calif. –
Monday announced the appointment of Ryo Mizuhara as the new president
of Kenwood’s U.S. office, here, replacing Junji Kobayashi who continues as a director
of Kenwood Corp., Kenwood USA and JVC Americas Corp.
Mizuhara is a 29-year veteran of Kenwood Corporation, and was
most recently president of Kenwood Electronics Singapore, after serving in
various company roles in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the company said.
“I am very pleased to be a part of the Kenwood USA organization
and will strive to achieve our very aggressive business goals for the next few
years,” said Mizuhara. “The American market is strategically important to
Kenwood Corporation and I appreciate the opportunity to continue building
market share and increasing Kenwood’s brand awareness in the United States.”
