Avenel, N.J. — Fresh from a busy International CES for its seven accessories brands, Mizco announced the implementation of a new senior sales management organization.
Chris Flaharty, formerly sales VP, has assumed the position of global sales executive VP.
Albert Mizrahi, Mizco president/CEO, commented: “Chris understands the core values that have made this company the leader that it is today. As our first executive vice president of global sales, Chris will also function as our first ‘chief happiness officer,’ in that he will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales programs that excite and motivate our sales team and bring delight to our retail partners who rely upon us for continued innovation across all seven of our magnificent brands.
Under the new sales structure, Zeno Ricci, who was managing Canadian sales, was named international sales director. Ricci previously managed sales for Targus in Canada and Latin America, according to Flaharty. “It has been a true pleasure watching Zeno build a terrific business for Mizco in Canada, and we are excited to have him take on an expanded role in our new sales organization,” Flaharty said in a statement.
New to the Mizco sales team is Mark Kelley, who was named U.S. sales director, responsible for overseeing distribution, e-commerce and specialty channels. Kelley was recently director of sales at Daymen.
“Mark brings valued experience in building brands, delighting customers and communicating with leadership on how to better serve both our employees and customers,” Flaharty said.
Flaharty noted that Mizco has “recruited tremendous talent to manage the company’s multiple brands, and the new changes in the sales organization will allow the brand directors to meet with key customers to collaborate on joint strategies to maximize the merchandising direction for each of the company’s partners. It has been a true pleasure working with the various brand managers and to share their passion with our customers,” he added.
