Irvine, Calif. — Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America kicks off this month a tour of many of its dealers across the country with a “rolling showroom” offering consumers a demonstration of key MDEA products and future concepts.
The first stop of the 53-foot big rig tractor trailer will take place Sept. 21-23 at Pat Goff’s A1 Television and Appliance store in El Paso, Texas.
When set up, the rig nearly doubles in width to 24 feet, creating a 1,000-square-foot showroom of high-definition DLP and flat-panel televisions.
The rig is expected to reach thousands of interested potential HDTV purchasers as it tours the through Texas, California, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Arizona, the company said.
On display will be more than a dozen 1080p HDTVs, including Mitsubishi’s SuperSlim LCD flat-panel and large-screen HDTVs
with DLP technology, design for maximum picture in minimum space.
