Minneapolis –
Steve Decker joined Milestone AV Technologies as president of its consumer
products group, a newly created position.
The addition of
Decker is part of Milestone’s recent realignment into separate commercial and consumer
customer-oriented global product groups, the company said. Milestone brands
include Sanus, Chief and Da-Lite.
Steve Durkee was
previously president of Chief and Sanus products for Milestone, and he becomes
president of commercial products, overseeing the Chief and Da-Lite brands.
Decker’s
responsibilities will include Milestone’s consumer-oriented sales, marketing,
product development and product-management efforts in the United States, as
well as oversight of consumer product sales worldwide.
He was most
recently with Kodak, where he ran a number of their consumer and commercial
business groups, Milestone said. He has also worked with Thomson Consumer
Electronics and Rockwell International.
