Minneapolis — Milestone AV Technologies announced this morning it had acquired Raxxess Metalsmiths.
Raxxess is a supplier of rack-mount solutions, furniture and accessories. Milestone is a manufacturer of Chief and Sanus Systems A/V mounting equipment.
According to a release put forth by Milestone, Hyman Peller, Raxxess president and founder, has joined Milestone as part of the acquisition.
Scott Gill, Milestone president and CEO said in a statement, “The acquisition of Raxxess expands our customer base, broadens our product line, and is a natural fit for our existing Sanus Systems- and Chief-brand business. I’m excited to add the innovative Raxxess product line to our existing offerings, and would also like to welcome Hyman Peller to the Milestone team.”
Raxxess operations, previously located in New Jersey, have been moved to Milestone’s facility in Savage, Minn. Milestone did not immediately respond to TWICE inquiries regarding any personnel changes for the two companies.
Shipping from Minnesota reportedly began yesterday, June 8, to existing customers.
