New York – Microsoft is planning more then 30 retail events nationwide to help usher in Windows Vista and Office 2007 on Jan. 30.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will be on hand at Best Buy’s Fifth Avenue location in Manhattan with David Morrish, Best Buy senior merchandising VP. Events also will be held the evening of Jan. 29 in select locations. Microsoft has partnered with FoxSports.com and Hewlett-Packard to host a VIP Ultimate Celebration. Running frmo 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. the VIP events will feature DJs, special offers and pro football player appearances.
