Swedesboro, N.J. — In Car Experts (ICE), the first buying group for car audio specialists in the United States, added its fourth vendor member, Metra Electronics, which produces accessories that helps CD radios and other car products fit into new cars.
Other vendors which have recently joined the new buying group are JL Audio, Boston Acoustics and Aamp of America.
Still other vendor members are expected to be announced by International CES in January, said ICE executive director Rob Elliott.
ICE said its car audio programs for retailers will go into effect starting in January.
In September, ICE announced its first 25 retail members and said it plans to represent 500 retailers eventually.
