MB Quart Readies Small-Footprint Car Amps

Chicago – Maxxsonics plans February shipments of Class D reference-level Mykros car amplifiers under the MB Quart brand, all featuring a small footprint.

The amps also feature a Q-Stasis preamplifier stage, said to reject noise and assure that “clean signal passes to the amplifier,” the company said. They also feature a dual-surface heatsink design to deliver improved heat dissipation.

The lineup consists of a four-channel model, a five-channel model, and a mono amp.

The $319-suggested RM440.4 is rated at 4×75 watts into 4 ohms, 4×110 watts in 2 ohms, and 2×220 watts bridged into 4 ohms. Its dimensions are 7.09 inches by 6.5 inches by 1.97 inches. Its dimensions are 10.24 by 6.5 by 1.97 inches.
