Maingear Upgrades ePhex Gaming Line

Union, N.J. — With the E3 gaming show raging out in Los Angeles this week, gaming PC maker Maingear unveiled its ePhex Elite.

The configure-to-order model is an upgrade to the company’s current ePhex model. The new version has a base price of $5,660. It is powered by Intel’s Core i7 975 Extreme processor with an Intel X58 chipset, a choice of Nvidia GeForce GTX or ATI Radeon HD graphics, up to 24GB of DDR3 low-latency memory and a wide range of hard-drive capacities.

To keep the PC cool it incorporates a liquid cooling system, and it can be factory over-clocked.

The ePhex Elite is housed in a customer laser-etched case. The buyer uploads an image to Maingear, which will then emblazon it upon the PC.

Maingear CEO Wallace Santos tagged the ePhex Elite, “the embodiment of our mission.”
