MacMall Opens Chicago Store

Chicago – Apple reseller MacMall has opened its first retail store
outside of its Southern California base.

The company will hold a formal grand-opening event for the new
Chicago location on March 31.

MacMall, a subsidiary of PC Mall, operates stores in Torrance, Santa
Monica and Huntington Beach, Calif., but sells primarily through its
17-year-old e-commerce site MacMall.com.

Grand-opening events will include drawings for more than $7,000
in tech products, including a MacBook Air notebook, Apple TVs and iPods, and a
separate $7,000 drawing for businesses.

“We are excited to enter the Chicago market with our broad
offering of leading-edge technology products and on-site repair services,” said
MacMall president Dan DeVries. “Customers will find that we offer a wider
selection and better prices than many of the competitors in our space.”

MacMall stores carry a wide selection of Mac- and PC-based
products and premium CE by such brands as Hewlett-Packard, Adobe, Samsung,
Sony, Epson, Brother, Logitech and Targus. The stores also provide Apple-authorized
in-house service, free seminars and on-site repairs.

Parent company PC Mall is a $1.5 billion value-added direct
marketer of technology products, services and solutions to small- and medium-sized
businesses, mid-market and enterprise customers, government and educational
institutions, and consumers. PC Mall brands include PC Mall, PC Mall Gov,
Sarcom, MacMall, Abreon, NSPI, eCost and OnSale.
