Luxury Tech Show Garners CE Support

NEW YORK – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) will be among a number of high-end CE industry representatives scheduled to exhibit at the Rand Luxury Technology Show, March 4, 2014 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, here.

The CEA and top brands including LG Electronics, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony will use the invitation only event to show press, analysts, retail executives and affluent consumers, examples of some of the finest home and mobile technology gear available today.

In addition to CE manufacturers, the event is expected to draw brand ambassadors from a wide variety of industries.

Product categories to be highlighted will include: photography, Ultra HD TV, wearable technology, home and  business automation, high-end personal audio, home appliances, smart watches and wellness and fitness devices.

“Our recent CEA study supports that seeing Ultra HD TV technology in-person is critical for consumers to appreciate its benefits,” said Jeff Joseph, CEA communications and strategic relationships senior VP.  “Many say, seeing the technology in-store had a significantly positive impact on their opinions of Ultra HDTV, an impact that could not have been achieved through reading a description of the technology alone. Food will be supplied by Vai Restaurant, cocktails by Russell’s Reserve and CAVODA Vodka and ultra premium ice cream by executive Chef, Chris Leung of Cloud 10 Creamery. Also on hand will be hand rolled cigars from Elite Mobile Cigars. Concierge service will be supplied for the event by Quintessentially.

The Luxury Technology Show will take place at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th St., New York, NY, starting at 3pm-5p.m. for invited press and industry representatives; and 5p.m.-9p.m. for invited guests and clients.
