Vienna, Va. — Kiosk maker Lucidiom has a new countertop photo kiosk in its Automated Photo Machine (APM) line, the APM 1100.
The unit features a 17-inch adjustable touch screen, an optional credit card/magnetic stripe reader so customers can pay for their photos at the kiosk, and two USB ports for connecting flash drives.
The kiosk supports the popular digital camera memory-card formats, including the reduced-sized formats, and features a CD burner/DVD reader. According to Lucidiom, the unit’s Pentium 4, 3.0-GHZ processor with hyper-threading and 1 GB of hyper-threading RAM can process photo orders at an average of two minutes.
The APM 1100 features the company’s APM 3.0 software which allows retailers to change the look and feel of the ordering screen, including store branding.
The APM 1100 has a list price of $4,950. It does not include a printer.
