Baltimore — Security-camera maker Lorex Technology will ship a new, networked security camera to dealers this month.
The LNE3003 IP ($230) camera can be connected to home networks via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Footage can be viewed remotely via Web browser or 3G mobile device.
The camera records VGA resolution video at 30 fps and features a 10x digital zoom, night-vision LEDs and two-way audio.
The camera’s motion-detection technology can automatically generate an image email when movement occurs. It ships with software for recording video to hard drives and adding additional cameras (up to six) to a network.
