Fremont, Calif. — Logitech has introduced a cordless laser mouse today that can be clipped to a laptop for easy portability.
The V550 Nano has what the company is calling a Clip-and-Go dock. Should the user later decide to remove the clip, Logitech told TWICE at a line preview, the material adhering it to the laptop can be easily removed without leaving a residue.
The mouse’s receiver rests nearly flush against the side of the computer — it protrudes just 8 mm, according to the company — so it can be left in the laptop when it’s packed away.
Other features include a battery life of up to 18 months, a scroll wheel that can spin freely when the user must page through long documents, a button that enables users to switch between applications, and 2.4GHz wireless technology.
Scheduled to be available this month for a $59.99 suggested retail, the V550 Nano will be offered in two colors: gray with silver accents and silver with blue accents. Each purchase includes two Clip-and-Go docks.
