Both play back stereo transmitted from any handheld device equipped with stereo Bluetooth, including the iPad and iPad2, the iPhone (3G and later), and the iPod Touch (second generation and later). Both also feature portable AC/DC operation with NiMH batteries delivering up to six hours of playback time, and 3.5mm aux input to play a local source.
The lower-priced model has two full-range speakers, but the new model is a two-way system with a pair of 0.5-inch tweeters, two 3-inch midranges and four 2-inch passive radiators.
