Chicago - LightSquared tapped Brightstar, the cellular distributor and logistics provider, as its preferred supply-chain services provider to help LightSquared resellers bring 4G LTE handsets and data devices to market when LightSquared's network is built.
Because "many of LightSquared's partners are entering the wireless market for the first time," LightSquared said, "they can harness Brightstar's services to achieve greater efficiencies as they launch new products and services and tap into new market segments." Brightstar services include product development, inventory management, device fulfillment, demand forecasting and local market intelligence.
