Lieberfarb Out At Warner Home Video

New York – Warner Brothers announced late Friday that long-time Warner Home Video president Warren Lieberfarb is leaving the company.

The move came as a surprise since, according to Variety – which is owned by TWICE’s parent company Reed Business Information – Lieberfarb is in the middle of a long-term contract and has held his position for 20 years. Variety cited several possible motives for Lieberfarb’s removal, including his maneuvering to consolidate Warner’s theatrical and home video marketing under his command.

No official word has come from Warner on Lieberfarb’s replacement, but Variety reported James Caldwell, executive vice president under Lieberfarb and Warner Home Video executive Marsha King are expected to be given additional duties.
