Englewood Cliffs, N.J. - LG Electronics lead the U.S. market in residential front-load clothes washers during the fourth quarter of 2010.
According to data from The Stevenson Company's TraQline report, the period marked the 16th consecutive quarter in which LG took top share of the U.S. front-load washer market by revenue. LG first attained the top slot less than four years after entering the U.S. market.
"Desirable features, reliable performance and outstanding design continue to attract record numbers of American consumers to LG's suite of premium home appliances," said Sam Kim, president of the company's home appliance division.
