The company will host a number of fan events providing hands-on opportunities with LG's latest consumer electronics products, home appliances and smartphones.
As a central part of the effort, LG's "Home Court Challenge" will take place on April 1 at 2 p.m. CT at Bracket Town in New Orleans and will celebrate one of the best rivalries in sports history: Duke vs. Kentucky from the 1992 Regional Finals.

The LG House in the event will feature washing machines with TurboWash technology that saves 20 minutes per cycle and LG's super-capacity French-door refrigerator offering the largest capacity in its class at 31 cubic feet.
Other highlighted products will be LG's Cinema 3D Smart TVs with enhanced 2D to 3D conversion technology and passive glasses 3D viewing and the LG Nitro HD 4G LTE smartphone that delivers new levels of speed and features from a 4.5-inch HD IPS display. In addition to calling the contest, Anthony will also appear in LG's "Do March Right" TV commercials that will begin airing this month within March Madness coverage on CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV.
The company has three TV spots that were developed to drive consumers into stores, "which is a request from many of our retail partners right now," said James Fishler, LG Electroncs marketing and go-to-market senior VP.
