The X5150 is also a full color, stand-alone-copier with print speeds of 16 copies per minute for text and 11 copies per minute for color. The flatbed scanner portion has an 8.5-inch by 11.7-inch scan area with 600 by 2400 optical resolution and 48-bit color.

The X5150 is bundled with a variety of photo editing and scan to fax software.

In other news, Lexmark reported a $116.3 million net profit for its fourth quarter on sales of $1.21 billion. During the same period in 2001 the company posted a profit of $36.8 million on sales of $1.14 billion.

The company said the quarter’s sales were driven by sales of replacement ink cartridges for its inkjet and laser printers. These were up 23 percent from the same period in 2001 and now represent 54 percent of the firm’s total revenue. Inkjet and laser printer sales were down 6 percent for the quarter.
