Lexmark Bows Wireless All-In-One Printers

Lexington, Ky. — Lexmark International has launched three new wireless all-in-one printers, the X6570, the X7550 and the X4850.

The Lexmark X6570 wireless all-in-one printer has a suggested retail of $149. It lets users perform tasks like two-sided printing and faxing and it comes with a 25-page automatic document feeder for copying, faxing and photo printing.

According to a release, the X6570 allows users to scan, fax and access media card slots wirelessly. It has print speeds of up to 28 ppm in black and 24 ppm in color. The device features a 48-bit flatbed color scanner and uses pigmented Lexmark evercolor 2 inks.

For photos, it offers scan-back photo proof sheets and optional six-color printing. Users can access photos via a media card slot or the PictBridge port.

The printer also includes the Lexmark Toolbar, which the company says “makes Web printing more efficient by eliminating unwanted content such as advertising or graphics from Web-based documents.”

Model X7550, at a suggested $199 is said to offer all of the same features found on the X6570 save for its greater print speeds of up to 30 ppm black and 27 ppm color. The X7550 also comes with a 2.4-inch color LCD display for viewing and editing photos.

Lexmark’s X4850 wireless all-in-one printer also features a 2.4-inch color LCD display and will be available at a suggested $149. It can perform two-sided printing and also allows users to scan and access media card slots wirelessly. Its features include card slots and a PictBridge port, as well as its capacity to produce borderless photo prints. According to the company, the model is “for SO/HO professionals who have a strong interest in wireless and photo capabilities.”

Lexmark has also introduced a single-function wireless printer, the Z1520 at a suggested $129. With print speeds of 30 ppm black and 27 ppm color, the Z1520’s features include borderless photo-printing, optional six-color printing.

Beyond its wireless printer introductions, Lexmark has also bowed two traditional color all-in-one models, the X5070 and the X5495.

The X5070 will retail for $89.99. It features a sheet-fed design, built-in handset and print speeds of up to 24 ppm in black and 17ppm in color. According to Lexmark, it offers PictBridge support and a 30-page automatic document feeder.

Finally, the X5495 will retail for $99.99 and offers printing, flatbed scanning, copying and faxing and comes equipped with card slots and a PictBridge port. It has print speeds of up to 25 ppm in black and 18 ppm in color and comes with a 15-page automatic document feeder.

Model X5495 will be available in December while all of the other models will be available in September.
