Fremont, Calif. — Lexar and Kodak will extend their flash-memory partnership for an additional five years, the companies announced today.
The agreement marks the continuation of a deal consummated in 2004 between the two firms and will ultimately lead to a broader portfolio of Kodak-branded flash-memory-based products, the companies said.
Lexar currently supplies a line of Kodak-branded products, high-speed SDHC and SD cards, and a standard line of SD and xD cards.
Future products will include USB drives and microSD cards.
