Fremont, Calif. — Lexar unveiled its version of the Eye-Fi, making good on a partnership announced at International CES.
Lexar’s version will carry the Shoot-n-Sync brand and arrives in stores in October. It offers all the features of the original Eye-Fi card, including the $99 price tag.
The company also expanded its portfolio of memory cards geared for mobile devices with a 2GB and 4GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card.
The cards include an adapter for the larger Pro Duo card and will ship in the fourth quarter. Pricing was not announced.
Finally, Lexar added new SDHC and CF cards in its performance Platinum II line.
The 16GB SDHC card will feature a data speed of 60x while the 16GB CF card will feature a speed of 80x. Pricing was not announced but the cards are expected to ship in October.
