The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is being marketed under Lenovo’s ThinkPad business brand, but has been designed for both commercial and home use. It will ship in October with the launch of Windows 8; pricing has not been set.
The Tablet 2 has a 10.1-inch display, weighs 1.3 pounds and supports multiple input methods, including multi-finger touch and pen. It is available with an optional keyboard.
There will be 3G and 4G models, and owners will have the option of accessing Lenovo Mobile Access, which is a pay-as-you-go data plan.
The unit includes full-size USB and HDMI ports.
