Lenbrook Joins HTSA

Sharon, Mass. – Lenbrook America will offers its
NAD and PSB home audio brands through a buying group for the first time with
the announcement that it is joining the Home Technology Specialists of America
(HTSA) as a vendor member.

Lenbrook America president/CEO Dean Miller said the
Lenbrook brands are “very closely aligned” with HTSA’s mission and membership.
“If you were to look
at the various buying groups and evaluate their mission, their membership and
what they stand for, we would be very closely aligned with the HTSA group,”
Miller said.

HTSA managing director Bob Hana said the partnership
will help HTSA members deliver high-performance audio options to consumers with
substantial digital music libraries. “With
the expansive growth of audio content via computers, the opportunity for HTSA
members to educate their clients and engage with new clients interested in high-performance audio solutions is
phenomenal,” he said. Getting Lenbrook as a vendor member “will further enable our members
to leverage the future of digital music.”

At CEDIA and CES, Lenbrook

launched
a host of components

with computer connectivity and networking
capabilities.

Lenbrook’s HTSA announcement follows a mid-2011
distribution change in which it dropped all but two independent rep
firms and begin selling the NAD and PSB brands direct to retailers for the
first time after having sold exclusively through independent reps since the
company’s founding 20 years ago. As
part of that plan,

Lenbrook
America

created four regional sales manager positions, each responsible for sales of the
NAD, PSB, and Tivoli brands.

The distribution plan was put in place
by Miller, who joined Lenbook earlier in 2011.
