San Francisco Leef Technology today unveiled a high-performance line of microSD and SD memory cards designed for high-speed storage of HD video and professional-grade photography.
The new PRO line include UHS-I-rated cards developed with 300x processing speeds, about four times faster than standard cards, Leef said. Read/ write data speeds are clocked at up to 45 MBps in 4-bit transfer mode.
The cards have a brilliant white finish with Leef’s proprietary PrimeGrade Memory module die-sealed into a thermoplastic casing, making them waterproof and shock resistant to protect data. This also helps deliver a consistent, rapid data stream rate and ensures reliable, high-speed storage, Leef said.
Leef PRO microSD cards come with a microSD-to SD-adapter. Both the microSD and SD cards are available for a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 16GB model, $44.99 for 32GB and $84.99 for 64GB.
The PRO line can be preordered on the company’s website with shipping slated for Dec. 17. They will roll out in January on Amazon.com.
