Kodak Unveils Burton Edition Playsport Cam

Rochester, NY. –

Eastman Kodak

unveiled Tuesday its Zx5 Burton Edition Playsport video camera designed
especially for snow lovers.

Kodak said the special-edition pocket video camera bundle, which
ships this fall at a $200 suggested retail, is designed to meet the demands of
dedicated boarders, offering all the popular features of the Kodak Playsport
video camera family.

“The Burton Edition of the Playsport Camera goes where you want
to go, even in the harshest winter conditions,” said Phil Scott, Kodak digital
capture and accessories marketing VP. “This little pocket-sized video camera is
waterproof and shock-proof, so no need to worry about carving through fresh
powder or hitting a rail or hard pack in a terrain park. The easy-to-read interface
and buttons are large enough to use even with gloves on.  Plus, it’s small enough to fit in your jacket
or fleece yet powerful enough to capture HD video and still photos.”

Like prior Playsport models, the Burton Edition shoots 1080p HD
video or 5-megapixel still photos.

Video can be recorded at up to 60 fps for quality slow motion or
stop-action shots.

 The Burton-branded kit
includes an HDMI cable, remote control, 4GB SDHC memory card, a gripping tripod
and carrying case.

 The camera will be available
in blue.
