Kodak Offers Rapid-Scanning Solutions

Boston — Kodak added a new in-store rapid photo scanner to its lineup.

The s1220 can batch scan photos at 30 photos per minute and is designed for use in retail stores, Kodak said. It features software that can automatically sharpen images and reduce red eye as images pass through the scanner.

The device is a follow-up to the i1220 scanner which has been used by photo retailers to offer “shoe box scanning” services.

The S1220 will be available in July for an expected list price of $2,495.
