New York — Kodak launched a host of zoom digital cameras designed for the “style-savvy” consumer.

Four of the cameras — M753, M853, M873 and M883 — are part of the company’s EasyShare line.

The M753 ($149 suggested retail) and M853 ($179) feature 3x optical zoom lenses and 7-megapixel and 8-megapixel resolution, respectively, which enables consumers to print clear images up to 30 inches by 40 inches in size, according to Kodak. Both have 2.5-inch LCD screens.

The M753 is available in black, silver, purple, copper, pink and blue, while the M853 is produced in white, red, graphite, silver and espresso.

The M873 ($199) and M883 ($229) both offer 8-megapixel resolution and “high ISO settings.” The M883 boasts built-in face-detection technology and a 3-inch LCD screen. The all-metal bodies of the M873 and M883 come in silver and black with the M883 also produced in red.

The M753 will be available this month, while the M853 and M873 are schedule for August availability. The M883 will follow in September.

Kodak also announced the Z1275 and ZD710 zoom digital cameras. The Z1275 offers 12-megapixel imaging and 5x optical zoom. The 7-megapixel ZD710 is billed as a versatile, fully automatic zoom digital camera with 10x optical zoom and high ISO. Both the Z1275 and ZD710 are equipped with digital image stabilization and the company’s Perfect Touch technology. They will be available in August for a suggested $249.
