Knowledgefest Adds Keynoter, Floor Space

North Andover,
Mass. – The Knowledgefest mobile electronics trade show has added Pandora’s senior
VP Jessica Steele as a keynoter and announced other changes to the show.

Knowledgefest will
be held Oct. 10-12 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas
and is sponsored by the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA) buying
group. The show will have seminars on Monday and Tuesday that are separated
into three tracks to target individual staff members and responsibilities
within a retail store: owners /managers, sales and installers.

Each day will also
feature line-specific training sessions put on by exhibiting manufacturers,

MERA announced
that the show floor space had been recently increased to accommodate the
increasing number of exhibitors. New additions to the exhibitor roster include
AudioControl, Audio Enhancers, Dynamat, JBL, Parrot and Precision Interface
Electronics.

More
than 30 industry vendors

have reserved show floor space to date, according
to MERA.  

“Originally, we
had 11,700 square feet of booth space allocated, but we’ve had to increase it
15 percent to 13,500 square feet to make room for more exhibitors,” said Paul
Pirro, MERA services manager, in a statement. “We’re very excited to see the
industry embrace the new KnowledgeFest.”

In addition to
Pandora’s Steele as a keynoter on Monday, Daniel Abramson, president and founder
of StaffDynamics, will keynote KnowledgeFest on Sunday while Stephen Witt, executive
VP of Dice Electronics, will keynote on Tuesday.

A Monday Night
Football Tailgate Party will be held, featuring two members of the Dallas
Cowboys Cheerleaders. The party will take place at the Glass Cactus night club
at the Gaylord Texan Hotel.
