Kenwood Teams With SiriusXM On Incentive Program

Long Beach, Calif. – Kenwood USA
brought back its X Rewards sales-incentive program for retailers of its Excelon
series of mobile electronics products and teamed up with SiriusXM as part of
the program.

The program has been offered annually for
years.

 Between April 15 and June 30, salespeople earn
points redeemable for gifts such as a DeWalt 9 tool combination kit, Panasonic
Viera 42-inch LED HDTV, the latest Apple iPad, SiriusXM Lynx Wi-fi-enabled
portable radio kit and Excelon products. As part of the program, retail
salespeople are also incentivized to attach a SiriusXM satellite-radio tuner to
the sale of a compatible Kenwood in-dash unit.

“The participation of SiriusXM in
this year’s X Rewards adds a lot of value and dealer excitement to the
program,” said senior marketing manager Scott Caswell. “It’s a great
opportunity to demonstrate some of the advanced features of the new SXV100V1
tuner, such as replay, iTunes tagging and game alerts. Plus, the salesperson
can earn an additional 200 points for the attachment sale.”

A website has been created to
help participants enter the necessary selling data, monitor point totals and
order prizes.
