LAS VEGAS – Kenwood is unveiling new sales and marketing initiatives to support its launch of 44 new aftermarket car electronics products.
Here at International CES, the company is announcing a spring sales promotion that runs through April 30 and offers improved margins in every product category to qualifying Kenwood Excelon dealers.
Other initiatives include the return of the “99% Demo Program,” which offers a 99 percent demo discount on selected in-dash electronics to qualifying dealers.
The company is also brining back its X Rewards sales-incentive program, a sell-through promotion that launches right after the spring sell-in promotion.
For the sixth consecutive year, Kenwood is teaming with navigationtechnology company Garmin on a consumer rebate program for Kenwood’s A/V-navigation units, which use Garmin technology.
In 2013, Kenwood also said it plans additional traffic-building programs in conjunction with Pandora, HD Radio, SiriusXM and others.
Kenwood also plans another Vacation Incentive Program, which qualifies dealers who achieve their support targets between Jan. 1 and June 30 for an all-expense-paid group vacation for two in October.
