Wayne, N.J. – JVC
announced it has added to Gumy and Marshmallow lines of headphones, as well as
added a new Riptidz model.
Four new models were
introduced in total, offered in colors meant to match the sixth-generation iPod
Nano.
The HA-FX8 Riptidz
($9.95), with 11mm drivers, have a sweat-proof body, JVC said, and meet the
IPX-2 waterproof specification. They come with three sizes of silicone
earpieces, and are sold in eight colors.
The Riptidz are
available this month for $9.95.
The Gumy Plus HA-FX5
(also $9.95) is an in-ear version of JVC’s Gumy. Features include a soft rubber
body, three sizes of silicone ear pieces and a choice of eight colors.
Two new Marshmallow
models were introduced: the HA-FX30 and HA-FR36. The in-ear HA-FX30 come with
small- and medium-sized memory-foam ear pieces, 11mm drivers, and a choice of
eight colors. It will be available this month for $14.95.
The HA-FR36 ($19.95) has
the same features as the HA-FX30 except that it adds a built-in remote and mic
that can be used with Apple and BlackBerry devices.
