JVC Mobile Touts Web Campaign’s Page Views

Los Angeles –

JVC Mobile
Entertainment

‘s third annual online “viral video” promotion campaign
captured 2.5 million views in its first three weeks on the web, and boosted
combined page views of the company’s viral video series by almost 15 percent
during that time, the company said.

The 2010

Turn Me On 3

campaign features
multi-platinum selling recording artists The All-American Rejects, whereas the
first two viral videos featured less-well-known bands, The Darling Stilettos
and Charm City Devils.

JVC called the three-week page-view count
“staggering” because the campaign hasn’t been advertised yet. The company plans
online banner ads and radio promotions, and it will place the video on JVC’s
video billboard in New York’s Times Square.

Before the third video went
online, the first two videos had already enjoyed more than 21 million views,
JVC said.

The third video features such
mobile entertainment products as the KW-NT3HDT in-dash navigation receiver,
which features

Total
Traffic Plus HD traffic and data service

, and the El Kameleon KD-AVX77
CD/DVD receiver, which also appeared in the first two videos.
