Long Beach, Calif. – JVC
Mobile Entertainment is taking social networking to a new level by creating its
own network of Facebook pages.
The company said it has
built a network of 84 Facebook pages “designed to link their local car audio
and video dealers with their target audience of 16- to 35-year-old men and
women within their local communities.”
Content will focus on
music, action sports, body art and fashion, JVC said, with postings every day.
Pages will also feature events, promotions, sweepstakes and contests, and will
have details about the company’s products. Authorized dealers will be promoted
in each local region.
“While many companies
have attempted to reach their target audience on a national basis, few, if any,
have attempted to build a national network of local communities in support of
their brand and their customers,” said Chad Vogelsong, marketing general
manager for JVC Mobile Entertainment.
