Long Beach, Calif. – JVC has begun to share a facility with
Kenwood USA.
JVC is moving the western regional office of its consumer
electronics group from Cypress, Calif., to Long Beach, Calif., where it will
share a facility with Kenwood USA to reduce overhead and costs, JVC disclosed.
In addition, JVC Mobile Company of America is
moving from Cypress to the Long Beach facility.
“JVC and Kenwood operations will remain entirely separate,
including all staff and warehousing,” a spokesman said of the move. “The
move streamlines costs for both companies by allowing us to share overhead.”
The headquarters for JVC Americas Corp. remains in Wayne, N.J.
Although JVC and Kenwood car audio offices are in the same
building, their staff and office space are separate, and JVC and Kenwood have
separate entrances, the spokesman added.
