JVC Expands Marketing Division

Wayne, N.J. – JVC Company of America announced the expansion of its Marketing Division and staff promotions in both marketing and sales.

Newly established within the Marketing Division are the Corporate Product Strategy and Retail Merchandising Departments, the company said. These report to marketing VP Hiro Ishizuka. The Corporate Product Strategy Department is charged with identifying emerging technologies and trends, and coordinating strategic product development in conjunction with JVC’s product divisions.

Heading the new department as VP is Karl Bearnarth, who also continues in his capacity as Consumer Audio Division VP. In addition, Chad Vogelsong, formerly national product and marketing manager for the Mobile Entertainment Division, has been named national manager for the new Corporate Product Strategy Department.

The Marketing Division’s new Retail Merchandising Department will oversee product specialists assigned to each of JVC’s four regional branches, and be responsible for product training, store detailing, local event support, and other duties. Directing the new department as general manager is Rob Payesko, formerly merchandising manager for the Consumer Video Division.

In other changes, Steve Howcott, formerly East Coast branch sales manager, has been promoted to General Manager, Consumer Audio Division. Taking over as East Coast branch sales manager is John G. Seiersen, formerly regional sales manager, East Coast branch.
