JVC Adds Headphones

Wayne, N.J. – Thursday
proved to be a busy day for the headphones industry, with JVC joining

Harman

and

Ultimate
Ears

in new product introductions.

JVC added to its
Marshmallow line and introduced a new pair of over-ear headphones. The HA-FR50
Marshmallow in-ear headphones come with a remote that can control functions and
volume on Apple devices and feature Made for iPod, iPad and iPhone
certification. They’re offered in four colors with earpieces in two different
sizes.

Specs include 8.5mm
neodymium drivers, a 3.94-foot (1.2m) color cord and a gold-plated
iPhone-compatible slim plug.

They will be
available this month for $39.95.

The second
introduction of the day, the HA-S600, is designed as a lightweight, foldable
around-the-ear headphone that offers superior bass reproduction. Features
include memory foam ear pads, 40mm neodymium drivers, a bass-boosting port,
3.94-foot cord with gold-plated iPhone-compatible slim plug, and a carbon
compound diaphragm. According to JVC, this design structure ensures that sound
pressure in the headphone housing is equalized, which results in superior
performance.

The JVC HA-S600
will be available this month in a choice of three colors – white, black and blue
– for $49.95.
