It’s Official: 2015 CES Was The Largest Ever

ARLINGTON, VA. — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), owner and producer of International CES, announced that the independent audit of the 2015 show confirmed attendance reached a record 176,676.

This is a 10 percent increase from the 2014 CES. Attendees came from 153 countries, with 48,833 attendees coming from outside the U.S. — a 19.6 percent increase from 2014.

The show had more than 3,600 exhibiting companies across over 2.23 million net square feet of exhibit space.

As previously reported, CEA said it is implementing stricter credential requirements for the 2016 show, aimed to keep attendance at around 176,000. Registration opens July 8.

The audit was performed by Veris Consulting and is now available on CESweb.org.
